Hats & Caps

Our headwear spans suede structured hats, linen hats, brimless styles, dad hats, 5-panel camper caps, trucker caps, and the cowhide print cap. All sizing is based on head circumference.

How to measure
Measuring Your Head Circumference
1
Get a soft tape measure

Use a flexible fabric measuring tape. If you don't have one, use a piece of string and measure it against a ruler afterward.

2
Position the tape correctly

Wrap the tape around your head, sitting approximately 1–2 cm above your ears and across the centre of your forehead — the widest point of your head.

3
Read the measurement

Keep the tape snug but not tight. Note your measurement in centimetres or inches. If you fall between two sizes, select the larger size for comfort.

4
Match to the size chart

Locate your head circumference in the chart below to determine your Wulbi hat size across all styles.

Size chart
Units
Size Head Circumference US Hat Size Fit Character
XS 52 – 53 cm20½ – 20⅞ in 6½ – 6⅝ Close fit
S 54 – 55 cm21¼ – 21¾ in 6¾ – 6⅞ Refined fit
M Most Worn 56 – 57 cm22 – 22½ in 7 – 7⅛ Standard fit
L Most Worn 58 – 59 cm22¾ – 23¼ in 7¼ – 7⅜ Standard fit
XL 60 – 61 cm23⅝ – 24 in 7½ – 7⅝ Relaxed fit
XXL 62 – 63 cm24⅜ – 24¾ in 7¾ – 7⅞ Relaxed fit
XXXL 64 – 65 cm25¼ – 25⅝ in 8 – 8⅛ Full relaxed fit

Measurements refer to your head circumference, not the hat itself. Structured hats have minimal additional room; unstructured styles offer slightly more flex.

Style fit notes
Suede & Fedora

Structured Hats

Firm construction holds a precise shape. Fits true to the chart. If between sizes, select the larger size to avoid pressure on the forehead.

Linen & Brimless

Soft Unstructured

Natural give in the fabric. These styles are true to size — no need to size up. The brimless silhouette sits flush and snug by design.

Cotton Dad Hat

Adjustable Strap

Adjustable back closure accommodates most head sizes within the S–XL range. One setting suits the majority of customers.

5-Panel & Trucker Caps

Snapback Closure

Flexible snapback fits head circumferences from 54 to 62 cm (21¼"–24⅜"). Adjust the snap to your preferred tension.

Cowhide Trucker

Premium Snapback

The cowhide front panel is stiffer than cotton. Fits true to the chart; select one size up if you prefer a looser, unobstructed feel.

Wulbi Fit Advice

Head circumference can vary slightly throughout the day. For the most reliable measurement, measure in the evening. If you are between two sizes on any Wulbi hat, always select the larger size — a hat that is slightly generous can be adjusted; one that is too small cannot.

02

Beanies

Our knit beanie collection includes styles in merino wool, cashmere blend, mohair, waffle-knit wool, ribbed wool, short fisherman cuts, and cotton. Knit construction adds natural stretch — sizing is more forgiving than structured headwear.

Fit philosophy

How Knit Sizing Works

  • All Wulbi beanies are knitted with inherent stretch — a beanie sized slightly below your head circumference will stretch to a snug, secure fit.
  • For a fitted, close-to-head look — stay true to your measured size or size down.
  • For a relaxed, slouchy silhouette — size up one size.
  • Measure your head circumference the same way as for hats: tape above the ears, across the centre of the forehead.

Fibre Stretch Notes

  • Merino wool — excellent stretch and recovery. Most forgiving fit across the range.
  • Cashmere blend — moderate stretch. Follow the size chart closely.
  • Mohair blend — lower elasticity than wool. Size strictly to your measurement.
  • Cotton — minimal stretch. Select your exact measured size.

XXXL 66 – 68 cm26 – 26¾ in Up to 70 cmUp to 27½ in Full relaxed fit

Stretch reach indicates the maximum comfortable circumference the beanie can accommodate. Exceeding this range will cause fabric distortion and uneven knit tension.

Style fit notes
Short Fisherman

Low & Precise

Sits close to the head with a minimal profile. Designed for a fitted streetwear finish. Select your true size — do not size up.

Cuffed Styles

Classic Street

The cuff provides extra ear coverage. True to size. Size up if you prefer a deeper cuff fold or more visible overlap.

Waffle Knit

Textured & Stretch

Waffle construction provides greater natural stretch than ribbed styles. True to size will fit most; size down for a very snug finish.

Cashmere & Mohair

Premium Fibre

Lower elasticity than standard wool. Measure carefully and follow the size chart precisely. These fibres do not recover well when over-stretched.

03

Clothing

Wulbi knitwear and outerwear spans two distinct fit philosophies. The Organic Cotton and Merino Wool line is designed for a refined standard fit. The Team 247 and Initial line is cut intentionally oversized. Both run XS through XXXL.

How to measure
Taking Your Body Measurements
1
Chest

Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape horizontal. Arms relaxed at your sides. This is the primary measurement for all Wulbi garments.

2
Waist

Measure around your natural waist — the narrowest part of your torso, approximately 2–3 cm above your navel. Keep the tape relaxed, not pulled tight.

3
Hips

Measure around the fullest part of your hips, approximately 20 cm below your natural waist. Particularly relevant for longer knitwear and hoodies.

4
Garment Length

Measure from the highest point of your shoulder straight down to where you want the hemline to fall. Compare against the garment length column in the chart.

Oversized Fit — Team 247 & Initial Line
Important Fit Note

These garments are constructed with an intentional oversized silhouette — drop shoulders, extended body length, and a generous chest. The garment measurements listed are significantly larger than your body measurements. If you prefer a more relaxed street fit, select your standard size. If you prefer a more fitted oversized look, size down by one size.

How to Identify Your Line

If the product name contains "Oversized", "Team 247", or "Initial" — use the Oversized Fit chart. If the name contains "Organic Cotton" or "Merino Wool" — use the Standard Fit chart. When in doubt, our team is always available to advise before you order.

Sneakers

Our leather sneaker range — the Apex Low-Top and the HTN Pony Hair Low-Top — are constructed from full-grain cowhide and pony hair leather respectively. Both require a break-in period. Sizes are listed in US format on all product pages.

How to measure
Measuring Your Foot Length
1
Measure at the end of the day

Feet expand slightly throughout the day. Measuring in the afternoon or evening provides the most accurate reading and ensures the best fit.

2
Trace your foot

Stand on a piece of paper and trace the outline of your foot, keeping the pencil perpendicular to the floor — not angled inward — for accuracy.

3
Measure heel to longest toe

Using a ruler, measure the straight-line distance from the heel to the tip of the longest toe. This may be the second toe rather than the first.

4
Match to the conversion chart

Find your foot length in the chart below. If your measurement falls between two sizes, select the larger size — especially important for leather, which requires a break-in period.

Leather Sizing Note

Full-grain leather and pony hair leather both have minimal initial give. New leather footwear will feel firm and precise on first wear. Both styles will conform to the shape of your foot after 5–10 wears. If your foot measurement falls between sizes, we strongly recommend selecting the half size up. A leather shoe that is too small cannot be stretched to a comfortable size.

Style notes
Apex Low-Top

Full-Grain Leather

Standard last with a clean, low silhouette. Fits true to the US size chart. Wide-footed customers should select a half size up. Break-in period: approximately 5–10 wears.

HTN Pony Hair

Pony Hair & Leather

The pony hair panels have no stretch. The leather base follows a standard last. Select a half size up if you have wide feet. This style should not be worn in wet conditions.

Both Styles

Break-In Guidance

Wear for 1–2 hours on your first few outings to allow the leather to soften. A leather conditioner applied before first wear will accelerate the break-in process.

On Leather Ageing

Full-grain cowhide leather develops a natural patina with wear — subtle tonal variation and surface character that makes each pair unique over time. This is an inherent quality of the material, not a defect. Pony hair leather should be kept away from moisture and stored with the grain brushed in a single direction.
